Summer camp counselors will be responsible for the day-to-day safety and supervision of a group of campers. General counselors will be with their campers at all times taking them to and from activity areas, lunch, etc. They are expected to be a friend, mentor, and role model to children, and a good teammate to their fellow staff members. Supervision duties include 18 campers and 1-2 Counselors in Training. Full-time hours, Mon - Fri. 

Responsible for conducting and implementing activity areas, such as Swimming, Archery, Sports, Nature Discovery, Arts and Crafts, Drama, Ropes Course, etc. Applicants must have proper knowledge and qualifications for these positions. For example, Lifeguards at the pool need current American Red Cross or equivalent Lifeguard Certification, CPR, etc. We will pay for your training! We also provide training for our Ropes Course Counselors. Applicants for activity areas are expected to design and execute lesson plans and programs geared for all different age groups. Full-time hours, Mon-Fri. 

Provide supervision & surveillance, ensure a safe environment, and help prevent/manage injuries at the summer camp pool. Assist in the management of the physical operation of the pool facilities and equipment.  Must be American Red Cross LG certified (we will pay for your training)! When the pool is not in use, lifeguards join in the general merriment of summer camp activities and provide other support to our Adventure Camp program. Full-time hours. 

Aftercare Counselors lead children through a rotation of activities in our extended care program. Counselors are responsible for safety and supervision, all while interacting with their campers ranging from 5-13 years old. This team has the capability to have a meaningful, positive impact on our Aftercare campers who attend week after week. Prior experience working with children is preferred. Must have a pleasant, fun-loving, professional demeanor. Part-Time Hours: 1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Mon – Fri.

Spend the day traveling to various camps capturing campers and staff having fun through photos and videos! This coordinator assists in the creation of end-of-week highlight videos and social media posts. Photography experience is a must, and videography experience is a plus. Knowing the ins and outs of social media, iMovie, and photo editing would also be helpful!

The Aftercare Director supervises both children and staff in our active extended care program. Must have a pleasant, professional demeanor to provide leadership to staff and excellent customer service to parents. Mentor and motivate the staff to become a fun-loving team of excellence! Hours: 1:30 p.m. - 6:10 p.m. Mon-Fri. 

Responsible for all risk management at the pool, as well as supervising a staff of lifeguards. The manager will coordinate the daily rotation of staff, take an active role in providing pool surveillance when campers are present, assist in pool maintenance, and implement the Emergency Action Plan. When the pool is not in use, lifeguards join in the general merriment of summer camp activities and provide other support to our Adventure Camp program. The applicant must be American Red Cross LG certified. Full-time hours. 

Our administrative team consists of:

Camp Nurse - The Camp Nurse must be a Tennessee state licensed registered Nurse, LPN, or EMT with current CPR & First Aid training/certification.

Enrollment & Communications Director - handles all aspects of enrollment and payment processing, as well as mass communications and social media branding.

Front Desk Coordinator - manages the front desk, coordinates the late arrival/early departure of campers, greets families, and provides logistical support to all instructors.

Assist with supervising staff and campers. Ensure the logistics of the day-to-day operation of the camp run smoothly. Responsible for implementing program variations. Experience in camp leadership is preferred to performing duties such as training and mentoring the Counselors in Training. Must be flexible, organized, and creative!! 

The life of the party! Our Special Events Coordinator is the planner of fun. They are responsible for organizing the design, communication, and promotion (fun skits) of themed special events. They also use their creativity to help plan the camper elective time periods!
