A Day in the Life of the Leadership Team

7:15 Your day starts here - get things organized for the day, unlock doors, collect reports from the office, etc.

8:20 Leadership Team splits up to monitor various arrival points and greet camp families - everyone is excited for another day at camp! You may be there just at the right time to encourage a nervous camper, direct a volunteer to the right location, or answer questions for a nervous parent.

9:00 Check in with the staff - does everyone have all supplies needed? Does a camper group need some extra guidance at the beginning of the day?
Be ready to be called away via the walkie talkie at a moment's notice though - things pop up all the time!

LUNCH - Help with the logistical flow of the entire camp rotating in and out of the cafeteria. Once all the groups are through, the leadership team eats together! We chat about camp things and non-camp things that make us laugh!

After lunch - quick team meeting to prepare for afternoon events. Work on some computer items or get out there with the campers. We also use this as a set up time for the afternoon events!

1:45- 2:15 Man your Specialty Camp pick up location! Don’t forget your traffic vest or walkie!!

2:25 - Split up to touch base with staff for mentoring, deliver snacks, prepare a special event, or just get involved and play with the campers!
